    Letter from Igor Stravinsky to Dagmar Godowsky, Leopold's daughter (1st page) (May 17th, 1937)

    Stravinsky is asking a favor: "... werden Sie 'ja' sagen, aber was mich da geniert ist die Geldfrage: ich brauche Medicin (gegen meinen 'nervous sympathicus') die mein New Yorker Arzt Dr. Cooper, mir verschrieben hat und die jetzt schön zu Ende kommt ... Schicken Sie es mir bitte durch den selben Commissaire principale de 'Paris' ..." (Stravinsky mentions Charlie Chaplin, a close friend of Dagmar)
